It was Australia day in Mohali as two young West Australians, Shaun Marsh, 24 (son of Geoff) and 23-year-old Luke Pomersbach, shared an unbroken stand of 102 in 9.2 overs as Kings XI Punjab beat Bangalore by nine wickets. Marsh hit 74 off 51 balls and Pomersbach 34 off 24 balls as Kings XI overhauled Bangalore's 143 for eight in 15.4 overs to register their sixth win. Sachin Tendulkar will play his first IPL match when he appears for Mumbai Indians against Chennai tomorrow.
